Real Madrid handed timely boost as Éder Militão injury update provided

An update on the wellbeing of Real Madrid defender Éder Militão has come to the fore online this evening.

And the news will no doubt be met with widespread excitement on the part of the Blancos faithful.

Militão, of course, has been unavailable for selection to boss Carlo Ancelotti since all the way back in August of 2023.

This comes after the Brazilian became the 2nd Real star in the space of a week (after Thibaut Courtois) to suffer a ruptured Anterior Cruciate Ligament.

Not only that, but Militão has since been joined by fellow stopper David Alaba as the third member of Ancelotti’s ranks to pick up an ACL tear over the course of the campaign to date.

Safe to say, then, that all associated with Real could do with some positive news when it comes to the club’s options at the back.

And, as alluded to above, this evening, precisely that has been forthcoming.

The info comes courtesy of Carlos Rodríguez of Onda Madrid, who has revealed that Militão is some way ahead of schedule in his comeback endeavours.

In fact, the former Porto man is said to be in the ‘final stretch of his recovery’, primed to rejoin his teammates in full training ‘soon’.
