An update on the wellbeing of Real Madrid player Arda Güler has been forthcoming. The info comes by way of the reliable José Félix Díaz of Marca, who has revealed that the Real brass are set to hand the responsibility regarding his comeback date to the former Fenerbahçe man himself.
Midfielder Güler has of course endured a nightmare start to life in Madrid, yet to take to the pitch since his summer arrival owing to a string of injury problems.
With his latest issue all but resolved, though, the youngster appears closer than ever to at long last taking to the pitch in the colours of European football’s most successful club.
‘Total trust’ remains in Güler’s abilities on the part of Carlo Ancelotti and co, with the Turk expected to play a prominent role over the 2nd half of the season.
Before then, though, it is the 18-year-old who must give the green light for competitive action.
The medical staff at Valdebebas are of the opinion that Güler’s condition has already reached the level required to return.
To avoid what would come as a 4th injury setback, though, they have informed the gifted starlet that there is no rush, meaning he will choose whether to mark his debut this side of the new year, or in 2024.
