On Cadena SER’s El Larguero they have analysed the situation involving Real Madrid forward Karim Benzema and his possible departure from the club.
According to journalist Antón Meana, Real Madrid supporters clubs in the Spanish capital are preparing a tribute to Benzema in case Sunday is his last game at the Santiago Bernabéu.
As per the same report, Benzema’s entourage are not ruling out the possibility that he could say goodbye to Los Blancos fans after the match against Athletic Club this weekend. The club’s directors are already aware of the existence of the offer from Saudi Arabia – one that Benzema is currently weighing up.
“This offer is a reality and proof of this is that the people closest to him say that the interest is real and that Benzema’s departure could be decided this week. The decision on his future is imminent, a decision that will be finalised this week, probably before the match against Athletic Club…”, the report says.
