Real Betis receive transfer offer from the Premier League

La Liga outfit Real Betis have this week received a transfer proposal courtesy of Premier League newcomers Hull City. This comes amid the understanding that the Tigers have set their sights on the signature of Pablo García.

Youngster Pablo is for his part fresh off something of a breakout campaign in his home country of Spain in 2025/26. After making his way through the youth ranks of the aforementioned Betis, the 20-year-old went on to rack up 21 appearances between La Liga and the Europa League.

Pablo, a winger who chiefly operates on the right, has long been hailed for his abilities in the final third, with three goals in five appearances for Spain’s U21s to his name.

And as alluded to above, word of these talents is now understood to have made its way to the top-flight of English football.

As per a report from market insider Matteo Moretto of Spanish outlet Marca, following their return to the Premier League for the 2026/27 campaign:

‘Hull City have made an official offer to Betis of 6 million euros for 50% of Pablo García.’

The stance of the Verdiblancos brass regarding the bid as of this moment remains unclear, but it is considered unlikely to be accepted.
