Real Betis & Málaga reach transfer agreement

The board at Real Betis have struck a transfer agreement with their counterparts at La Liga rivals Málaga, over the terms of an imminent move.

This comes amid the widespread understanding that Rafita is primed to take his talents to Seville on a permanent basis.

Rafita, a 21-year-old defender who chiefly lines out at right-back, has played a starring role in the colours of Málaga over the early weeks of the new campaign.

Across the Boquerones’ 11 La Liga fixtures to date, the Spaniard has featured from the off in all but one, notching a solitary assist along the way.

And his impressive exploits look set to give rise to an imminent high-profile transfer for Rafita over the months ahead. As per a report from BeSoccer, citing information from journalist Marcos Benito:

‘Agreement between Málaga and Real Betis for the transfer of Rafita. The plan is for him to sign in January and stay on loan at La Rosaleda until the end of the season.’
