Barcelona star Gavi is growing increasingly concerned by his situation in Catalunya’s capital at present. This comes amid what has been a challenging campaign for the Spanish international from an individual standpoint to date.
Midfielder Gavi finds himself well down the pecking order in Hansi Flick’s engine room setup at present, behind the likes of Pedri, Rodri, Frenkie de Jong and Marc Bernal.
All told, the 22-year-old has been afforded just a pair of starts between La Liga and the Champions League.
And his lack of minutes, it would appear, are beginning to take a toll on Gavi himself. In fact, as per a report from Diario Sport:
‘Gavi is very worried about his lack of prominence. It is not a situation that is comfortable for him, and he is affected by not having the continuity he wants.’
It is also noted, though, that the all-action midfielder is under no circumstances considering a departure from the Camp Nou, instead determined to wrestle back a prominent role in the plans of boss Flick and his staff.
