RB Leipzig star Dani Olmo names the Real Madrid player he would ‘eliminate’ for 2nd leg

RB Leipzig star Dani Olmo has today provided an insight into which member of Real Madrid’s squad poses the biggest threat to his side, in the upcoming showdown between the clubs.

Leipzig, of course, are primed to make the daunting trip to the Santiago Bernabéu in a little over 24 hours’ time.

As much comes with a view to the 2nd leg of the club’s Champions League Last-16 tie with Spanish heavyweights Real Madrid.

As things stand, it is the latter who boast the advantage, owing to a hard-fought 1-0 win in Germany three weeks ago.

On that occasion, it was Brahim Díaz who proved himself difference-maker, conjuring up a moment of individual brilliance to break the resistance of a stubborn Leipzig backline.

Speaking in an interview with Cadena SER on Tuesday, the subject of which member of Carlo Ancelotti’s star-studded squad he would choose to ‘eliminate’, to afford his side the best possible chance of emerging triumphant at the Bernabéu, was therefore put to the aforementioned Dani Olmo.

And the Spanish international opted for another member of Real’s attacking ranks, in the form of wide-man Vinícius Jr:

“Vini Jr, he makes the most difference.” Olmo explained.
