The Colombian striker was included in Rayo’s squad for the match away to Espanyol in midweek after recovering from his last muscle injury, although he did not play.
Rayo boss Andoni Iraola is likely to give him some game time against Barcelona at Camp Nou after seven games on the sidelines. He is expected to start on the bench.
