PSG wanted to sign Gavi

The signing of Ousmane Dembélé by Paris Saint-Germain, which will be closed when it is decided what part of the €50 million of the agreement corresponds to FC Barcelona, is not the only deal that the Ligue 1 club wanted this summer.

PSG, through their trusted intermediary, asked Barça if they were willing to sell Spain international Gavi, report Mundo Deportivo.

The idea was never contemplated because the LaLiga club considers the midfielder to be one of the most valuable players in their squad.

PSG head coach Luis Enrique is a huge admirer of Gavi and his agent, Iván de la Peña, is close to the Asturian tactician.
