PSG to make a move for João Félix in January

PSG are keen to sign João Félix in the January transfer window, report Mundo Deportivo.

The Atlético Madrid forward, who turns 23 today, has been linked with a move away from the club over the last couple of weeks as he struggles to start regularly under Diego Simeone.

Most recently, at the end of October it was communicated that Benfica would be interested in signing their former player on loan.

It is believed that Félix has fallen out with Simeone, increasing the likelihood that the Portuguese striker will leave Los Colchoneros one way or another soon.

PSG are the latest team to be knocking on Atlético Madrid’s door regarding Félix, who could end up being Kylian Mbappé’s long-term replacement.

The 23-year-old arrived to the Estadio Metropolitano for a fee of €127m and has a release clause of €350m. While it is very unlikely that any club will meet Félix’s release clause, Atlético Madrid will be hoping that someone will be willing to pay more than what they purchased the striker for.
