PSG boss Luis Enrique provides Kylian Mbappé update ahead of Barcelona match

Paris Saint-Germain manager Luis Enrique addressed the media regarding the future of Kylian Mbappé in the press conference where he also previewed the UEFA Champions League quarter-final clash with Barcelona.

Mbappé is the centre of attention with an announcement on his move Real Madrid imminent. However, this announcement will not be made until it is impossible that PSG and Madrid can face each other in this years Champions League.

With both sides still in the competition, the media wanted to know whether the 25-year-old would be involved in the match against Barcelona. Enrique was quick to shift the attention away from the Frenchman and insisted that his group of players are in a good moment ahead of this crucial Champions League encounter.

He said: “You keep asking me if Kylian will play, how’s Kylian. I don’t speak about one single player. I want to speak about the group.

“We are in good spirit, good moment. It’s a good one to move into UCL quarter finals.”

Los Blancos host Champions League holders Manchester City in the first leg tonight, while Mbappé will be in action tomorrow as they host Barca at Parc des Princes.
