Sevilla travel to Germany to face Borussia Dortmund at the Signal Iduna Park this evening in the fourth round of the Champions League group stages, with kick-off scheduled at 9pm local time.
This will be Jorge Sampaoli’s first game in charge of Sevilla in the Champions League and he will be hoping to improve upon the club’s humiliating 4-1 defeat at the Estadio Ramón Sánchez-Pizjuán in the reverse fixture last week.
It is unlikely that the Argentine coach will start Marcão, who made his debut on the weekend after returning from a long injury, as the club’s coaching staff do not want to put too much pressure on his return.
