Predicted Real Madrid XI vs Valencia

Real Madrid play Valencia in the first semi-final of the Supercopa de España (Spanish Super Cup) later today.

Los Blancos won the tournament last year after beating Athletic Club 2-0 in the final.

Carlo Ancelotti is expected to make a couple of changes to the side that lost 2-1 against Villarreal in La Liga over the weekend. Federico Valverde will most likely be moved into the midfield to take the place of the injured Aurélien Tchouaméni, giving Rodrygo the chance to play on the right-wing.

Éder Militão is predicted to play next to Antonio Rüdiger in the heart of Real Madrid’s defence.

Predicted Real Madrid lineup against Valencia

AS predict that Ancelotti will field the following starting XI against Valencia: Thibaut Courtois – Dani Carvajal or Lucas Vázquez, Éder Militão, Antonio Rüdiger, Nacho Fernández or Ferland Mendy – Federico Valverde, Toni Kroos, Luka Modrić – Rodrygo, Karim Benzema, Vinícius Júnior.

The match is set to kick off at 8 pm CET.
