Predicted Valencia XI vs Real Madrid

Valencia travel to Saudi Arabia to play Real Madrid in the first semi-final of the Supercopa de España (Spanish Super Cup) later today.

Valencia last won the competition in 1999, when they defeated Barcelona 4-3 on aggregate.

Gennaro Gattuso is expected to shake up his starting XI after losing to Cádiz at the Mestalla last Friday. André Almeida will most likely get the nod ahead of Ilaix Kourouma, while Justin Cluivert or full-back Toni Lato is expected to join Edinson Cavani and Samuel Lino in the forwards’ line.

Nico González is ruled out with an injury.

AS predict that Gattuso will field the following starting XI against Real Madrid: Giorgi Mamardashvili – Thierry Correia, Mouctar Diakhaby, Eray Cömert, José Luis Gayà – Yunus Musah, Hugo Guilllamón, André Almeida – Justin Kluivert or Toni Lato, Edinson Cavani, Samuel Lino.

The match is set to kick off at 8 pm CET.
