Predicted Barcelona XI vs Sevilla

Barcelona face Sevilla in La Liga tonight and will be looking to get back to winning ways after their 2-2 draw with Mallorca in midweek.

After being rested in Mallorca, Robert Lewandowski will return to Xavi’s starting line-up, according to MD. He is expected to be joined in attack by Joao Félix on the left and Lamine Yamal on the right. After four consecutive substitute appearances, the 16-year-old could get his chance at home to Sevilla.

Lewandowski will be aiming to get the better of Sergio Ramos once again. In the eight games in which the pair have met, the Barça striker has scored six goals against Ramos.

In midfield, with Pedri and Frenkie de Jong absent, Oriol Romeu, Ilkay Gündogan and Gavi are likely to start.

There are also expected to be a couple of changes at the back from the draw with Mallorca, with Joao Cancelo and Alejandro Balde at full-back and Jules Koundé and Andreas Christensen coming in to play in the heart of the defence.

Possible Barcelona XI vs Sevilla

Ter Stegen – Cancelo, Koundé, Christensen, Balde – Romeu, Gündogan, Gavi – Lamine Yamal, Lewandowski, Joao Félix.
