PLAYER RATINGS | Barcelona 4-0 Real Valladolid

A dominant Barcelona side put four past a hapless Real Valladolid to register their second successive win in La Liga. We have rated the performance of the players in both teams who made an appearance last night.


Marc-André ter Stegen: 7 – Made a couple of good saves when called upon.

Jules Koundé: 7 – Grew into the game when at right-back, transitioned into centre-back when Roberto came on.

Pedri: 7 – Scored with a good finish in the first half.

Raphinha: 9 – Wreaked havoc whenever on the right wing. Served a superb cross to Lewandowski for the opener.

Robert Lewandowski: 9 – A second consecutive brace for the Pole, showing his sensational positioning and finishing with two quality goals.

Ousmane Dembélé: 8 – Shone on both flanks, ending up with two assists.

Sergi Roberto: 7 – Scored the fourth in stoppage time, pouncing on a rebound.

Jordi Masip: 6 – Made five saves, but had no chance with any of the goals.

Joaquín: 5.5 – Alert to recover some chances with a game high of eight clearances, but ultimately was no match for the quality of Barça’s offense.

Sergio Escudero: 3.5 – Endured a really difficult game having to deal with the twin threats of Raphinha and Dembélé.

Monchu: 4: – Overrun in the midfield by Barcelona’s pressure and precision.

Sergi Guardiola: 5: Barely had any opportunities, his best being an ambitious effort from the halfway line to catch Ter Stegen off guard.
