Several leading members of the first-team ranks at La Liga giants Barcelona on Thursday moved to showcase their support for teammate Roony Bardghji.

This of course comes fresh off the Swede being condemned to a long-term spell on the sidelines.

After he was carried out of training in evident distress earlier this week, an ensuing round of medical tests at the Ciutat Esportiva confirmed that youngster Bardghji had suffered a 2nd ACL tear of his fledgling career.

The 20-year-old, in turn, underwent surgery over the last 24 hours to repair his right knee. A long road to recovery now awaits Bardghji, who is considered unlikely to take to the pitch at all this coming season.

As alluded to above, on Thursday, a number of the winger’s teammates therefore made the trip to the hospital, to provide support and encouragement to Bardghji.

All of Pedri, Gavi, Alejandro Balde and Héctor Fort were spotted in attendance at a local facility in Barcelona, to which the youngster responded on social media:

‘Love you guys, thanks for showing up’
