Barcelona have confirmed that Pedri has undergone scans for the injury picked up in the defeat to Eintracht Frankfurt on Thursday.
The 19-year-old midfielder was sidelined for an extended period earlier this year with another hamstring problem, and could now be ruled out for the rest of the season with his latest hamstring setback.
Pedri has played only 12 matches in the league in 2021/22, starting 10. Barcelona have won eight of those 10, compared to nine victories in 20 without the Canary Islander.
The Blaugrana currently find themselves 12 points off leaders Real Madrid in La Liga. They take on Cádiz at Camp Nou on Monday.
