Speaking to Sky, former Juventus and Uruguay defender Paolo Montero shared memories of his time playing in Italy with current Real Madrid head coach Zinedine Zidane.
Montero shared Juventus’ dressing room with Zidane from 1996 to 2001 and continues to have great time for the Frenchman.
“In that Juventus team we had players like Del Piero and Zidane who could solve our games for us. Zizou for me was one of the most humble I knew and many great players played for Juventus. It was impossible not to love Zizou.”
The 48-year-old is currently in charge of Italian Serie C side Sambenedettese.
