Pacheta admits highly-rated Spanish defender Iván Fresneda will leave Real Valladolid

Real Valladolid head coach Pacheta believes that Iván Fresneda “only has a few games left in the Blanquivioleta shirt because he is 18 but does things that 30-year-old players do”.

Pacheta added that if he were at another club he would “go for him without thinking about it”.

“He would be a fantastic acquisition, his numbers are fantastic and, although I want him to stay here, I understand the club and I am aligned with him in everything he does,” he said at a press conference in words picked up by Mundo Deportivo.

“It’s good for the player that he can continue playing, but I’m sure he will play wherever he goes because he is a good right-back, who also played a brilliant game against Real Madrid.”

As reported by Fabrizio Romano, Newcastle, Juventus and Borussia Dortmund are in the race for the talented right-back.

Newcastle are exploring new right-back options and have already opened talks for Fresneda.
