West Ham United linked with Yousseff En-Nesyri

West Ham United are interested in signing Yousseff En-Nesyri from Sevilla, report Estadio Deportivo.

This is not the first time that the Premier League side are keen on bringing the Moroccan striker to London as they made an offer to sign the 25-year-old in January 2021 for €30m.

However, the situation is currently rather different. Unlike two years ago, Sevilla might be willing to part ways with En-Nesyri. Even though he scored the goal against Portugal that sent Morocco to the semi-finals of the World Cup, the striker has not been able to meet expectations in Andalucía.

So far this season he has only scored two goals in 16 games in all competitions and is struggling to keep his place in the starting XI ahead of Rafa Mir.

As things stand, West Ham are facing a relegation battle and they want to bolster their forwards department.

The sale of En-Nesyri would free up space in Sevilla’s squad to allow for the return of Lucas Ocampos.
