Osasuna handed Aimar Oroz boost ahead of Real Betis

La Liga outfit Osasuna were on Monday afforded some timely positive news on the personnel front.

As much comes amid confirmation that Aimar Oroz has returned to training alongside the rest of Jagoba Arrasate’s squad.

Oroz, for his part, has not featured in any of Osasuna’s last three fixtures, owing to a quad injury suffered against Almería late last month.

And his absence has been keenly felt, en route to defeats at the hands of all of Valencia, Rayo Vallecano and, this past weekend, by three goals to nil at relegation-battling Granada.

In turn, it will no doubt mark a welcome boost to all associated with Los Rojillos to hear that, on Monday, the club’s midfield star was back in the thick of things in training.

As per a report from Mundo Deportivo:

‘Osasuna player Aimar Oroz completed part of the training session this Monday with the rest of his teammates.’

The hope, as a result, is that Oroz will be back available for selection in time to take his place in boss Arrasate’s matchday squad to face Real Betis this coming Sunday.
