One in, one out – Real Madrid training reveals injury latest before Sevilla

A fresh insight into the personnel situation at La Liga giants Real Madrid has come to the fore this afternoon.

As much of course comes ahead of Carlo Ancelotti’s troops returning to action this coming Sunday.

Fresh off something of a disappointing 1-1 stalemate with Rayo Vallecano last time out, Real are set to play host to Sevilla, eyeing an immediate return to winning ways amid their pursuit of La Liga glory.

And such endeavours could yet be aided by the return of a key member of the club’s backline.

Antonio Rüdiger, sidelined since earlier this month owing to a thigh problem, was spotted in training alongside the rest of Ancelotti’s ranks once more on Friday.

As per the reliable Mario Cortegana of The Athletic, confidence is therefore growing that the German international will be available for selection to face Sevilla.

On the other hand, serious concern has emerged in Los Blancos’ ranks, surrounding Joselu.

After sitting our training over the last couple of days, the veteran frontman has still not linked back up with his teammates at Valdebebas, meaning he is considered a ‘major doubt’ for Sunday.

Finally, Jude Bellingham is back doing light individual work, ahead of the Englishman’s predicted comeback against either Valencia, or RB Leipzig.
