La Liga outfit Sevilla have this week announced a fresh addition to the club’s midfield ranks. The player to have put pen to paper on terms with the Andalusian outfit? Jon Guridi.
Guridi is of course considered something of a La Liga veteran at this point in his career.
The 31-year-old has spent the entirety of his club career plying his trade in his home country, across spells with Real Sociedad, and Deportivo Alavés.
Guridi’s last four years came with the latter, before the Spaniard made the call to move on as a free agent upon the expiration of his contract this summer.
And as alluded to above, this week, the midfielder’s latest landing spot has been confirmed.
As revealed in a statement across Sevilla’s official social media platforms:
‘Sevilla FC have reached an agreement with Jon Guridi to become a new player for the next two seasons.’
