Sergi Barjuan has been appointed as interim Barcelona coach, the Catalan club confirmed on Thursday.
Barjuan is the current coach of Barça B. His interim position as first team head coach will end as soon as the club has hired a full-time head coach to replace Ronald Koeman, according to an official club statement.
Former Barcelona captain and current Al Sadd head coach, Xavi Hernández, is expected to take over at Camp Nou.
