Matheus Cunha has completed his move to Atlético Madrid from Hertha Berlin.
The 22-year-old joins Los Rojiblancos on a 5-year deal for a reported €30 million.
With his national team (Brazil) he has shown his qualities as a leader in attack, scoring 15 goals in 16 games for the Under-23s. At the Olympic Games, he scored three goals in five games and that tournament was the deciding factor in Atlético’s decision to sign him. He scored eight goals and provided eight assists for Hertha Berlin last season.
