A member of the goalkeeper ranks at La Liga outfit RCD Mallorca has on Monday secured a move to the Saudi Pro League.

The player in question? Predrag Rajković.

Rajkovic, for his part, has long proven himself one of Mallorca’s standout performers.

This past season, the Serbian featured from the off in all but two of Los Bermellones’ La Liga outings, proving himself a key factor in the club’s eventual top-flight survival.

After Saudi outfit Al-Ittihad turned their focus towards the 28-year-old amid struggles to thrash out an agreement for Manchester City star Ederson, an accord was soon found with the brass at Son Moix.

As per a statement across Mallorca’s website and social media platforms:

‘Predrag Rajkovic leaves for Al-Ittihad. The Serbian goalkeeper ends his two-season stint at RCD Mallorca. Mallorca wishes him the best of luck in the future and thanks him for his work and commitment during his time at the club.’
