Carles Aleñá has joined Getafe on loan for the rest of the season from Barcelona.
The Madrid club confirmed the deal on Wednesday afternoon and the 22-year-old will bolster José Bordalás’ midfield options for the remainder of 2020/21.
Aleñá spent the second half of last season on loan at Real Betis. This season, he has only made five appearances in LaLiga and the Champions League. In total, the midfielder has played 43 times for Barcelona since making his first-team debut in the 2016/17 season.
