Cádiz have confirmed the emergency signing of former Atlético Madrid and Celta Vigo midfielder Augusto Fernández.
The 34-year-old joins the squad after injury to Luismi Quezada permitted the Andalusian club to sign an emergency player.
Cádiz currently lead the Spanish second division by three points and the signing of Fernández, who reportedly had offers from former club, Celta Vigo, along with Vélez Sarsfield, will add key experience for their title run-in.
