Real Sociedad have announced the signing of Brais Méndez from Celta Vigo for €14 million.
The Spanish midfielder joins on a deal until 2028. La Real manager Imanol Alguacil will have Méndez and fellow new signing Mohammed-Ali Cho for the start of preseason on Thursday.
The 25-year-old, who passed his medical with the Basque club today, scored four times and assisted five more for Celta in La Liga last season.
He will wear the number 23 shirt for the coming season. His official presentation will take place next week, with a date yet to be confirmed, because he also has to say goodbye to his former club Celta Vigo.
