Official: Barcelona register another 3 players with La Liga

La Liga giants Barcelona have on Friday registered another three members of the club’s first-team squad for La Liga play.

As much, of course, comes just over 24 hours out from Barca kicking the club’s new campaign into gear.

The Blaugrana are primed to make the trip to Mestalla on Saturday night, for a La Liga showdown with Valencia, as part of the opening round of fixtures in Spain’s top-flight.

In the buildup to the clash, much of the chatter surrounding Hansi Flick’s squad has centered on player registrations, or rather the lack thereof.

This comes with a host of key members of Barcelona’s ranks having remained unavailable for selection, amid ongoing work to stabilise the financial situation on the part of those behind the scenes at the Camp Nou.

Those of a Blaugrana persuasion, in turn, will no doubt be relieved to hear that, this afternoon, three such players have been locked in for Saturday’s trip to Mestalla.

As per the official La Liga website, all of Iñigo Martínez, Marc Casadó and Pablo Torre are now registered for play in Spain’s top-flight for 2024/25.
