England national team head coach Thomas Tuchel has this weekend revealed his take that Anthony Gordon’s game has reached entirely new heights of late.
Wide-man Gordon is for his part fresh off another starring performance on the international front yesterday evening. En route to England putting seven past Croatia, the Barcelona man notched a goal and an assist.
This took his tally for the Nations League break to four direct goal contributions in three appearances.
And in no doubt that such excellence comes as a direct result of Gordon’s summer move to the Spotify Camp Nou is the aforementioned Thomas Tuchel.
Drawn on the name of his in-form frontman during an exchange with the media post-Croatia, England’s headmaster went on to reveal his take that:
“He’s playing with much more aggression now, with more confidence. I see a player full of confidence, full of faith. He’s reached another level.”
