Denis Suárez has been linked with a move away from Celta Vigo throughout the summer transfer window, with the midfielder even announcing on his social media last May that he would leave the club.
However, no deal was struck between Denis Suárez, Celta Vigo and another club that could see the player leave the Galician outfit.
According to Marca, Celta Vigo will try do everything within their means to offload the 28-year-old this winter, who has fallen out the with the club’s board.
Denis Suárez has a contract with Os Celestes until June 2023, which means he is free to sign a pre-contractual agreement with any club from January onwards. However, Celta Vigo are keen to receive a transfer fee for his departure.
He is not currently part of Eduardo Coudet’s squad and is forced to watch games from either the stands or from his home on TV.
It would be in the interest of both the club and the player to resolve the situation as soon as possible.
