Denis Suárez has announced on his social media that he will leave Celta Vigo at the end of the season.
The player’s representatives have shared a poor relationship with Celta president Carlos Mouriño, with the latter demanding Denis to change his agency. The player’s refusal to do so has seemingly culminated in the midfielder deciding to quit the club this summer.
Suárez scored the winning goal for Celta against Elche on Sunday, in what was his last appearance at Balaídos. The midfielder posted a heartfelt message on social media after the game:
“Celtismo is above any one person. Thank you for the season. It has been a pleasure. Forever Celta.”
