At 26 years of age and with only eight months left on his contract with Real Sociedad, Adnan Januzaj must now decide whether he prefers to stay, which is what they want in San Sebastián, or leave on a free.

The former Manchester United player’s contract at the Reale Arena runs until 30 June 2022. Januzaj’s agent Dirk de Vriese told CalcioNapoli24 that they “are negotiating with Real Sociedad” over a new deal but also stated that they “expect new offers in January”.

De Vriese admits that the Belgian winger will not sign a contract extension before the turn of the year when he will be free to negotiate with others teams.

One of the interested parties is Napoli. “There was direct contact, I know about the interest,” said De Vriese. “After playing for Borussia [Dortmund], [Manchester] United and Real Sociedad, he is ready for the challenge of Napoli. He is used to big challenges,” he added.
