According to Gerard Romero of Jijantes, Memphis Depay could be included in a deal for Jules Koundé.
The Sevilla defender is on the radar of Barcelona, who are looking to strengthen their defence.
Xavi has already parted ways with Clément Lenglet and Samuel Umtiti is also tipped to leave the club this summer. Koundé has emerged as a serious option for the Blaugrana.
Sevilla are willing to sell the player this summer and Romero reports that Barça could reduce the amount to be paid in cash by including Depay in the deal.
The Dutchman, despite being the leading goal-scorer for the Spanish side last season, could leave this summer.
Barça have already completed the signing of Raphinha and have also agreed a renewal with Ousmane Dembélé. Robert Lewandowski has been heavily linked with a move, which would result in Depay falling down the pecking order should he decide to stay.
The former Lyon striker is in the final year of his contract and there have been no talks suggesting a possible renewal.
Including him in a deal for Koundé seems like a good option, given Barca’s financial predicament.
