Mauricio Pochettino believes there is a good chance that both he and Kylian Mbappé will stay at PSG.
When asked in a press conference about the chances of the pair remaining at PSG beyond the summer, Pochettino responded in quotes picked up by L’Équipe: “100% in both cases.”
Mbappé has been Real Madrid’s prized target for many months now, and saw a 200 million euros bid rejected last summer. Following Los Blancos’ win against PSG in the Champions League round of 16, Mbappé’s transfer to Madrid seemed a mere formality, given his contract runs out at the end of the season. However, Pochettino still believes that the Frenchman is going to stay at PSG.
“From how I feel and perceive it, and also because I don’t wish for anything else, I think Mbappé will stay 100%. But you never know in football, you can expect a lot of things.”
