This, of course, comes fresh off Barca booking their spot in the quarter-finals of the Champions League.
The Blaugrana marked their return to action a short time ago, welcoming Italian giants Napoli to Catalunya for the 2nd leg of the Last-16 tie between the clubs.
A hectic 90 minutes ensued, with visitors Napoli having carved out a whole host of presentable opportunities.
Barca’s attacking verve, though, ultimately proved decisive, goals on the part of all of Fermín López, João Cancelo, and Robert Lewandowski giving rise to an eventual 3-1 result.
And, as alluded to above, post-match, those of a Barcelona persuasion have roundly thanked one man for their side’s latest victory.
The individual in question? Xavi.
So often singled out for criticism across the season to date, tonight, the Blaugrana’s headmaster has been widely hailed, not least for his game-changing 2nd-half substitution, which saw the divisive Sergi Roberto introduced, changing the momentum of the clash in the process:
