Martin Ødegaard move to Arsenal would help finance Kylian Mbappé deal for Real Madrid

French outlet L’Équipe has reported that Real Madrid have €122 million cash on hand to secure the services of Kylian Mbappé.

The France forward has one year left on his contract at PSG but the Ligue 1 side do not want to sell him this summer. Martin Ødegaard has been strongly linked with a return to Arsenal for a reported €50 million, which would mean that Madrid’s offer to sign Mbappé could rise to around €150 million.

According to AS, Carlo Ancelotti is not counting on Luka Jovic or Mariano Díaz this season, which could see Los Blancos raise some more much-needed funds.

Madrid open their 2021/22 La Liga campaign against Alavés on Saturday.
