Manchester United and Newcastle United eye Valencia’s Javi Guerra

According to report by Marca, Manchester United are monitoring Valencia midfielder, Javi Guerra. Newcastle United are also showing interest in the young talent, setting the stage for a potential transfer battle between the two Premier League clubs in January.

Guerra has been enjoying an exceptional season for Valencia. In the first six games, he has already scored three goals from midfield and provided an assist, building on his impressive debut season, which piqued the interest of several clubs.

Marca emphasise Valencia’s need to offload players to balance their finances, suggesting a viable deal is in the offing.

Guerra has primarily played as a defensive midfielder for Los Che, but his impressive goal-scoring record this season indicates that he possesses more to his game than just protecting the backline.

His debut season highlights include scoring his first goal two games after making his debut, securing a late winner against Real Valladolid when he came off the bench in the 89th minute.
