Manchester United starlet JJ Gabriel has this weekend confirmed his imminent move to La Liga, with Real Madrid.
Youngster Gabriel has of course seen his name dominate the headlines in Spain’s capital across the week to date. This comes after a string of reports were forthcoming, pointing towards the Bernabéu as the 16-year-old’s next landing spot.
Gabriel recently informed the Man United brass of his intention to move on as soon as possible, having become disillusioned with the Red Devils’ woes as a club.
A whole host of European football’s top clubs were in turn tipped as potential destinations for a player widely considered to be a future star in the making.
And as alluded to above, this weekend, Gabriel himself all but confirmed precisely where he is set to end up. Asked by Madrid-based outlet Marca to choose between Barcelona and Real Madrid, the attacker, with a smile on his face, replied:
“Barcelona or Real Madrid? Obviously, Real Madrid…”
