The subject of wide-man Raphinha’s future in Catalunya’s capital has of course taken its place at the forefront of the headlines throughout the summer to date.
As much comes amid ongoing speculation that the Brazilian could be the man sacrificed, amid Barcelona’s ongoing efforts to raise funds for incomings of their own.
Those of a Blaugrana persuasion, in turn, will no doubt be interested to hear of a new suitor positioning themselves in the fray for Raphinha’s signature.
The outfit in question? Manchester United.
As per a report from Diario Sport, the Red Devils are on the lookout for reinforcements out wide.
This comes with Antony being pushed towards the exit door, and Jadon Sancho’s future beyond the transfer deadline also not clear.
Raphinha, in turn, has been earmarked as a leading target, with the Old Trafford hierarchy fully aware of the success enjoyed by the 27-year-old during his time with rivals Leeds United.
It should be noted, however, that Raphinha remains absolutely unwavering in his stance that he will be going nowhere this summer.
