Luis Figo: “I like to watch Dembélé, Ansu Fati and Rodrygo play.”

In an interview that appeared on Marca, Luis Figo discussed the most recent El Clásico and the current players in his former position.

The former Portuguese international revealed that he mostly enjoys watching players who play in the position he used to occupy on the pitch:

“I look at players who play in my position, and I like to watch Kingsley Coman, Dembélé, Ansu Fati and Rodrygo. I think they are very top players and I enjoy watching them play.”

However, he doesn’t believe that there are any players who play like he used to:

“I don’t think there is now a player with a similar style to mine, because my game was different.”

Figo also discussed the El Clásico fixture which happened last weekend:

“Madrid were better and deserved to win. Barcelona didn’t feel comfortable in the first half, that’s why they were behind on the scoreboard, and in the second half it was much more difficult to change the course of the match. Overall, I think Madrid were better and that’s why they won the game.”
