RAC1 report that Lionel Messi has told new Barcelona coach Ronald Koeman his future at the club remains unclear.
The Catalan outlet says that Messi is leaning more towards leaving the club than staying, however, the club captain is also aware that leaving would be very difficult due to conditions in his contract. The Argentine’s current contract runs to 2021.
Barcelona maintain he is still under contract but are aware of his possible desire to leave.
