Lionel Messi has returned to the Barcelona starting line up for Sunday’s LaLiga clash away to Huesca.
The club captain missed the 1-1 draw with Eibar at Camp Nou on December 29 as he returned from an ankle injury.
Since making his debut for Barcelona, Messi has played 499 LaLiga matches, 147 in the Champions League, 75 in the Copa del Rey, 19 in the Spanish Super Cup, 5 in the Club World Cup and 4 in the European Super Cup.
The 33-year-old is just five games off Xavi Hernández’s 505 league appearances for the Camp Nou outfit. Tonight also marks his 750th official game.
