Barcelona star Lamine Yamal immediately sought out a Blaugrana teammate after finding the net in the club’s latest outing on Wednesday. This came during another dazzling display on the part of the youngster and his teammates alike.
Hansi Flick guided his side back into action earlier this evening, welcoming Dutch giants Feyenoord to Catalunya’s capital for the club’s Champions League season opener.
When all was said and done at the Camp Nou, Barca kept alive what has been nothing short of a spectacular start to the new term, courtesy of a 5-1 romp.
And the aforementioned Lamine, yet again, played a starring role.
Across the 90 minutes, the 19-year-old was responsible for a trio of direct goal contributions, courtesy of a goal, and a pair of assists. His goal came through a direct free-kick, a rarity for the Blaugrana over recent seasons.
And as alluded to above, after watching his left-footed strike hit the net, Lamine immediately made a beeline for a member of the hosts’ bench. After Raphinha had been hooked from proceedings with a brace to his name, his young partner-in-crime sought him out, pointing to the Brazilian and calling him from the bench to celebrate:
