An update on the efforts of La Liga giants Real Madrid to schedule a 2nd concert for Taylor Swift has been forthcoming online.
And the news will no doubt be met with widespread excitement on the part of all those hopeful of catching a glimpse of the American in Spain’s capital later this year.
The name of pop singer Swift, of course, has taken a surprise place front and centre in the headlines at Real Madrid across the week to date.
This comes after word was forthcoming that Los Blancos had forwarded a request to La Liga, to have their final fixture of the season moved.
The reason? A scheduled Taylor Swift concert, as part of the unveiling of the new-look Santiago Bernabéu.
After originally pencilling in a solitary night for Swift to take to the stage at the club’s stadium, sky-high ticket demands left Florentino Pérez and co. with little choice but to seek out the means for a 2nd performance.
And as much now looks very much on the cards.
As per a report from Relevo, La Liga have given the green light for Real to play out their last league outing on Saturday May 25th, rather than Sunday the 26th.
This will afford Los Blancos the necessary time to transform their ground into a concert venue, for Swift’s added performance on the 29th of the same month.
