As reported by Relevo, Jude Bellingham has returned to first-team training and is expected to be included in the squad for Sunday’s match against Cádiz.
Real Madrid currently have an injury crisis on their hands with significant injuries in midfield. Bellingham’s return has come at the right time with French duo Eduardo Camavinga and Aurélien Tchouaméni both ruled out until the new year.
The British player was pictured in Thursday’s training sessions ahead of their trip to Cádiz.
Bellingham suffered a dislocated shoulder during a fall against Rayo Vallecano eighteen days ago. The midfielder continued to play despite discomfort but was unable to feature against Braga and Valencia; he also didn’t make an appearance during the international break for England.
During the club’s most recent training session, manager Carlo Ancelotti informed the Madrid players to not physically compete with Bellingham in duels to minimise the risk of injury. The Italian manager was pleased with the way the 20-year-old responded to the session and therefore the player is in line to start on Sunday at the Nuevo Mirandilla.
Since his €103m move from Borussia Dortmund to the Spanish capital, Bellingham has been in scintillating form, scoring 13 goals in 14 games.
