Real Madrid star Jude Bellingham has on Monday pointed towards two fellow members of Carlo Ancelotti’s squad as the best whom he has ever lined out alongside.
Midfielder Bellingham is for his part of course in the midst of what has proven nothing short of a remarkable debut campaign in Spain’s capital.
Since switching Borussia Dortmund for Real last summer, the 20-year-old has lit up La Liga, on his way to a stellar haul of 22 goals and ten assists across 38 appearances in all competitions.
Such exploits have seen Bellingham come in for early shouts for the next Ballon d’Or, amid Real’s pursuit of glory on the domestic and European fronts alike.
Speaking in an interview with Leah Revelle this week, though, it was some of the other standout members of Real Madrid’s squad who took their place front and centre in the discussion.
As much came upon Bellingham being asked who he considers to be the best player he has ever taken to the pitch with.
And the Englishman did not hesitate in pointing towards a pair of Blancos midfield veterans, responding simply with:
“Toni Kroos or Luka Modrić.”
