Real Madrid head coach José Mourinho has this week moved to make clear his appreciation for the talents of an up-and-coming member of his midfield ranks in Spain’s capital.
The player in question? Arda Güler.
Youngster Arda is for his part of course in the midst of what has been nothing short of a brilliant opening to the new campaign. Afforded a prominent role in the engine room setup of new manager Mourinho, the Turk has responded with a string of standout performances.
His creative exploits have been nothing short of world-class, with Arda having levelled his game up not only in terms of responsibility, but final ball, too.
Drawn on the name of his midfield starlet during his latest press conference in front of the media on Monday, José Mourinho therefore took full use of the opportunity to heap praise on Arda:
“The quality and stability he brings to the team, and his playmaking is incredible. He has fantastic potential. He’s top, top.”
